Purpose of Job: The Product Manager will be responsible for acting as a liaison between multiple teams to ensure successful product releases achieving ultimate customer satisfaction. This role will require working collaboratively with all stakeholders to define and drive product requirements through product and release launches. To be successful in this role, one will have had experience writing detailed feature requirements, feature content planning for new product releases and proposing new hardware solutions. This position will report to executive leadership.

Responsibilities:
  • Identifies customer problems/unmet needs (an opportunity)
  • Provides technical feasibility, business objectives, and leads a cross-functional business and technical team, to deliver against the opportunity
  • Works collaboratively to define and drive product concepts, features, functionality, and specifications in order to exceed customer requirements
  • Includes proposing new hardware offerings
  • Drives product releases and product launches
  • Participates in product positioning discussions and brings new ideas and market research to the table
  • Ensures product requirements are well organized and clearly documented throughout product development
  • Focuses efforts on user experience, usability, and functionality
  • Provides regular and irregular progress reports and other related updates and records to Executive Management
  • Performs ongoing customer and competitive analysis
  • Conducts market research to understand competitive technologies and trends
  • Conducts technical product training on new releases to internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications Required:
  • 10+ years in a Product Management role ideally focused on Enterprise Networking products
  • Bachelor’s Degree (BSCS/BSEE, MSCS/MSEE preferred)
  • Proven experience successfully defining and executing product specifications and requirements
  • Experience conducting competitive analysis and competitive market research
  • General understanding of networking products and protocols
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Exceptional organizational skills specific to scheduling product release dates
  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional customer support

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering or Manufacturing, or a related field.
