What You Will Bring

  • Strategic Market Penetration: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to identify, cultivate, and secure new direct and channel business sales relationships within the Mid-Atlantic region.
  • End-to-End Sales Ownership: Take full ownership of the sales cycle, from initial prospecting to closing deals, ensuring a seamless and efficient process.
  • Strategic Account Development: Collaborate closely with both internal and external stakeholders to formulate and refine account strategies. Leverage the unique strengths of APCON to influence technical decision makers and establish the brand as a preferred solution provider.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and nurture strong customer relationships to enhance customer satisfaction. Regularly engage with clients to understand their evolving needs and ensure that APCON solutions continue to align with those needs.
  • Exemplary Performance: Consistently exceed sales objectives and quotas by effectively leveraging market insights, fostering relationships, and delivering compelling value propositions.
  • Market Insights: Stay current with industry trends and competitor activities, using this information to tailor sales strategies and identify new opportunities for growth.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Product Development, and Customer Support, to ensure a synchronized approach that delivers holistic value to customers.
  • Sales Process Enhancement: Continuously refine and optimize the sales process by providing feedback and insights from the field, contributing to the enhancement of internal processes and tools.
  • Forecasting and Reporting: Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to management, offering insights into market dynamics and potential challenges.
  • Professional Development: Stay informed about advancements in sales techniques and industry best practices, proactively seeking opportunities to enhance personal and professional skills.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • 3+ years’ sales experience in highly complex software and hardware solutions.
  • 3+ years of experience in outside enterprise sales, particularly with a focus on network security products and/or security network monitoring solutions. Deep understanding of enterprise sales methodology.
  • A history of effectively establishing and nurturing strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to drive mutual success. Bachelor’s Degree and/or the equivalent experience.
  • A proven record of consistently achieving and surpassing sales goals and quotas.
  • Able to communicate technical information effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • In-depth knowledge of the local business landscape, particularly with Fortune 1,000 companies, allowing you to tailor strategies to meet their specific needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute sales plans effectively, solve complex challenges, and exhibit creativity in finding innovative solutions.
