Inventory and Receiving Coordinator (Wilsonville, OR/ On-Site)
About the Role
Inventory and Receiving Coordinator at APCON, Inc. will be responsible for ensuring proper handling and maintaining detailed records on all incoming shipments, preparing appropriate documentation for inventory, and keeping accurate inventory control. Communicate clearly with manufacturing and other internal staff members regarding material/ inventory status.
Responsibilities
Ensures the accuracy of all incoming materials by verifying items received against packing slips and assists in resolving any discrepancies
Counts, sorts, and stocks materials on racks, shelves, or in bins; according to predetermined sequences such as part number, labeling, and product code. Ensures material labeling is clear and accurate
Prepares kits for assembly using Bill of Material (BOM), pulling parts from stock, separating the parts into proper bins/trays, and delivering kits to the production floor
Receives and enters all raw material into the Material Requisition Plan (MRP) software ensuring material quantities are accurate
Working knowledge of all Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) activities and coordinating with the other departments for the accuracy of the material
Performs periodic and annual physical inventory counts
Follows Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) requirements to ensure proper handling and storage of sensitive electronic components
Performs any other tasks as assigned by the management team
Required Skills and Abilities
At least 3 years of experience in a receiving role within a high-tech environment
Ability to keep accurate stock tracking, inspections, and documentation
Understanding of ESD precautions and ability to work with sensitive electronic components
Utilize MRP systems, cycle counts, and enforce best practices
Handle multiple tasks, and prevent stock discrepancies
Work and communicate seamlessly with internal teams within the company
Keep work areas structured, organized, and fully functional
Tech-savvy with the ability to work with inventory management software
Education and/or Training
High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
